No pre-booking required, just turn up and play! Ocean Commotion Soft Play is accessed via the Gift Shop, please head to the shop and pay for your ticket at the till.

Standard Pricing:
£4 per child, or £2 per child for Dynamic Earth Membership holders.

Adults and Carers go free with an accompanying child. Please note that soft play is not included as part of our Annual Pass.

You can stay as long as you want! However, during peak times we might need to limit your visit to 90 minutes per family. You will be informed of any planned time restrictions when purchasing your ticket with our team.

Yes, due to the equipment and safety measures we can only allow children aged 6 and under to access our Soft Play. Older siblings can observe with parents but are not permitted to climb or play on the play equipment and therefore a fee won’t be charged for their entry.

No, children are not to be left unsupervised under any circumstances in our soft play. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult (aged 16+) at all times. Our soft play is covered by CCTV however please note that this is not actively monitored by staff.

Our soft play is open from 11am, and will close 15 minutes before the advertised building close time for the day of your visit.

Please note that our soft play is subject to the opening and closing times of the Dynamic Earth building, which can be found at the Opening Times drop down at the top of this screen.

We have three dedicated age-appropriate area’s including an area for younger babies to crawl and explore, a climbing frame and slide, and a climbing wall and interactive digital games for older children.

Food and chewing gum are prohibited in our soft play. We are happy for you to bring drinks into our soft play; however, we’d encourage you to purchase any hot drinks from our café so that they can be served in appropriate cups with lids to ensure against any accidents.

Please do not leave any hot drinks unattended in our soft play and ensure that any drinks are consumed in the seating area, not in a play area.

No, we would ask both parents and children to remove their shoes on entry to ensure that the floor surface remains clean for little explorers.

Wall pockets are available for storing children’s shoes, and adults are asked to place their shoes in a safe place near the designated seating area. Please note that socks must be worn at all times.

Yes! Please just notify the session teacher at drop-off that they can find you in the Soft Play in case of emergency, and ensure you meet your older child at the end of their class.
