FEBRUARY HOLIDAY CLUB

JOIN THE MISSION: WELCOME TO SPACE CAMP!

MISSION OBJECTIVE:

We are sending out a transmission to all eager explorers ready to embark on a four-day cosmic adventure this February half term. Each day offers a unique mission from launching rockets and designing lunar landers, to training like an astronaut and journeying through the Universe in our Planetarium. Through a mix of indoor experiments, outdoor exploration, games, and crafts – young recruits will uncover the wonders of space and learn how to protect our planet for the future.

Book specific mission days as a standalone adventure, or complete the full four-day journey!

MONDAY: ASTRONAUT TRAINING

Welcome to Mission Control! New recruits complete astronaut training challenges to prepare for their journey.

TUESDAY: LIFE BEYOND EARTH

What’s out there? Young explorers investigate planets, moons, galaxies, and look at how scientists study our Universe.

WEDNESDAY: LAUNCH DAY

It’s time to blast off! Recruits put their skills to the test by building and launching rockets, testing flight designs, and recording results.

THURSDAY: JOURNEY THROUGH SPACE

Explore the Cosmos. It’s time to travel through the Solar System and beyond, exploring stars, galaxies, and the mysteries of deep space!

£55 per child, per day. Flexible booking available: book one day, all four days or any combination of dates.

Please note that activities will be taking place both indoors and outdoors. Children must be dropped off with appropriate clothing and footwear for weather conditions and a packed lunch.

FEBRUARY CLUB FAQs

What time does the February Holiday Club start and finish?2024-12-16T11:52:11+00:00

The core club programme runs between 10am and 4:30pm each day. Children can be dropped off between 8:30am – 10am each day, pick-up is between 4:30pm and 5:30pm. There is no additional charge for the wrap-around periods.

My child has an additional support need, what support can you offer them to make the most of February Holiday Club?2024-12-16T11:19:09+00:00

We do our very best to create a welcoming and inclusive February Holiday Club for everyone and we ask that parents/guardians make us aware of any additional support needs: there is a section for this at the point of booking. Please get in touch with us directly if there are needs we should be aware of and can potentially make adjustments for. We cannot plan or help if we don’t know about additional needs in advance.

Whilst our team will do everything we can to support a welcoming and inclusive club, we cannot offer tailored 1:1 support for children with additional needs and unfortunately, we cannot control factors which some children may find overwhelming as part of the club, such as noise levels from other children.

February Holiday Club costs £55 per child, per day. You can book as many of the four days as you would like, and in any combination, meaning your child can attend just one day or all 4 days.

A maximum of 20 places are available for each day – so book quickly to avoid disappointment!

Are you able to take children under 7 and over 12?2024-12-16T11:54:47+00:00

Unfortunately not. Our activity programme is developed specifically for children aged 7-12. We do our best to develop an engaging, challenging and stimulating programme that’s fun for everyone in this range. If we learn your child is under the age of seven, or over the age of 12, we reserve the right to ask them to be collected from the club and no refund will be provided.
