A gift of this range can help us to develop new learning materials for schools, community and public engagement programmes. For example, it could help us to build a new erupting volcano or invest in new IT equipment to teach digital skills. It could also help us to develop new Accessibility Toolkits to help those with additional needs to make the most of their visit to Dynamic Earth, or fund mini-exhibitions on topics such as role models within STEM careers.

A gift at this level will help us to deliver supported learning sessions for community groups who face barriers to accessing science learning and visiting places like Dynamic Earth. Groups include care experienced young people, young and adult carers, resettled communities, at risk young people, older people at risk of social isolation and people with additional support needs. It can help fund bespoke kit for school workshops such as VR experiences, or an outdoor exhibition.

Gifts at this level can fund Learning and Engagement programmes for a year, for example our Outreach programme to reach remote and underserved schools and communities across Scotland with quality and fun science learning; or a series of Relaxed Hours afternoons for those with sensory needs. It could also support our School or Community Discovery Pass programmes to provide free access to underserved and underrepresented groups.

A gift of £20,000 or more can help fund our major development projects at our science centre, for example, brand new immersive interactive galleries within our permanent exhibition, which are the life-blood of organisations such as ours.
