DINOSAURS AND NATURAL HAZARDS

Event Postponed

Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh
ELC and Primary Level Practitioners
FREE – includes refreshments

Do you know your Tyrannosaurus Rex from your Stegosaurus? How about the differences between tornadoes and hurricanes? Or maybe, you just want to tell your learners you got to hold some fossilised dinosaur poo and make your own earthquake with your Tuesday night!

With thanks to the Enhancing Professional Learning in STEM Grants Programme from Education Scotland, Dynamic Earth are excited to provide you with a free professional learning opportunity to evolve your knowledge, confidence and skills in developing and delivering science learning in your classroom focussing on the themes of Dinosaurs and Natural Hazards.

Join us in this free twilight opportunity to hear from specialists working and researching dinosaurs, fossils and geology both here in Scotland as well as further afield, and then dive into either a session exploring dinosaur storytelling (ideal for ELC and First Level practitioners) or an interactive session exploring the Natural Hazards that make us Quake, Rattle and Roll (ideal for First and Second Level practitioners) with Dynamic Earth’s specialist Learning & Engagement Team.

Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
