This December, step into a Christmas party experience under the stars as our renowned Christmas Party Nights return for 2026. Celebrate the festive season in starlight style at our iconic venue in the heart of Holyrood Park.

Begin your evening with a welcome drink in our immersive Rainforest Gallery, followed by a three-course festive dinner and half a bottle of wine. Enjoy festive entertainment and dance the night away until 1am.

STARTER

Roasted butternut squash with coconut & chilli, and a roasted chestnut crumb (VE)

MAIN

Turkey roulade wrapped in bacon with sage & onion stuffing, kilted sausages, panache of seasonal vegetables and truffle potato, served with a cranberry jus.

OR

Braised barley and roast root vegetable wellington with a slow cooked tomato and herb pesto. (V, VE)

Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake with a winter berry compote (VE)

Hire Dynamic Earth for your exclusive party for the ultimate festive experience! Yours for an evening, hire our full event space to make a memorable end of year party night for you and your guests. Our Stratosphere space can accommodate up to 500 guests for an evening plated service and 800 for a standing reception, complete with exclusive access to the Galleries afterhours, dedicated dancefloor, in house catering and technical team all included in your private hire package.

We can provisionally hold places for 7 days. To confirm we require a non refundable deposit of £20pp with the final balance due 6 weeks prior.

We do our best to cater to any dietary requirements within your party. Please contact our team as soon as possible with any dietary needs, and we can advise on if it is possible for us to accommodate your request.

Can I add additional people to my booking once it’s been made?2024-10-03T11:18:42+01:00

If you are looking to add additional guests to your reservation please contact our team as soon as possible. Up to 6 weeks before the Party Night, you can confirm additional persons by paying the deposits required.

If any additional persons are added to the booking after 6 weeks prior to the event, the full balance would need to be paid to secure their place.

How many can you seat at a table and will we have our own table?2025-05-26T15:19:08+01:00

Our tables accommodate between 10 and 12 guests. Depending on your party size, you may be seated with guests from other groups. We will do our best to accommodate requests for private tables however, this is subject to availability and will be confirmed two weeks prior to your event.

How do I get there and do you have car parking available?2024-10-03T11:19:00+01:00

Situated at the foot of Arthur’s Seat and neighbouring the Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth is accessible through a number of sustainable routes, including walking, bus and cycle links, and has a 24-hour car park available for use. Please find more information about getting to our venue here.

Guests are invited to arrive from 7:00 pm to enjoy a welcome drink and festive entertainment in our Galleries. Dinner service will begin at 8:00 pm, followed by disco starting at 10:00 pm, the evening will draw to a close at 1:00 am.

Can we pre-order drinks?2025-05-26T15:16:44+01:00

Yes – We will contact you 6 weeks prior to your party night with a drinks pre order form, all drink orders will be placed on your tables upon arrival, pre payment will be required to confirm your order.
