A main plenary was held in the Biosphere suite with a number of breakout sessions taking place within the Hutton, Salisbury, Boardroom and Ozone rooms. We also had a large exhibition located on the Stratosphere where we provided all our refreshments and catering ensuring we maximised opportunities for exhibitors and delegates to connect and engage.

Additionally, in the evening, we hosted a drinks reception to launch the Flood Re, Scottish Flood Bus and were able to showcase the vehicle in the amphitheatre of Dynamic Earth which looked fantastic.

We kicked off the day with some hot bacon rolls — perfect for warming up on a chilly morning! Each day, the delegates tucked into a tasty lunch buffet, with options like sweet potato falafel wrapped up with golden beetroot and since it was chilly January, we made sure to include some tasty hot bites too, like gnocchi in a slow-cooked sunblush tomato and rocket sauce.

We felt the catering options met our many dietary requirements ensuring all delegates were included and felt part of the catering experience.

We chose Dynamic Earth due its central location in Edinburgh and facilities available for our requirements. In addition to the venue facilities, the customer service from the team makes this a top choice venue. Always happy to help and often at short notice.

Being able to have exclusive use of the venue for two full days was also a huge plus. It’s an iconic building and wonderful space.
